Starting lineup is posted--no Bedri, no Tavroff.
Instead, Columbia is projected to start Odunowo, McClean, Thompson, DLR, and Brown. They are obviously going for speed over size.

I am surprised, but not shocked by the projected starting five. In my opinion, DeLaRosa, Brown and Thompson were the three best players on the team last year, but for whatever reason the coaching staff never got the production it needed from them for Columbia to be successful. However, in all fairness that was a challenge given that DeLaRosa was a sophomore and Brown and Thompson were first years. I suspect that all three of these guys have matured physically and of course they are more experienced. McLeaan as the fourth starter also makes good sense as he is a dynamic player. Odonwo is the suprising fifth starter because he is a couple of inches smaller than most Ivy League centers. Yet, he is a tremendous athlete so maybe he can get the job done underneath. Finally, I like the fact that these five players together will enable the Lions to execute an high tempo offense similar to our successful women's team.

FWIW, Providence is favored by 18.5.

With the injury to Nweke, the only possible new impact player is Arop Arop so the returning players are going to have to get it done for Columbia to have a successful season. I assume that we will see Arop at some point tonight, but the big surprise is that Odunowo is starting instead of Bedri.
