Seven point loss to Seina. I only was able to catch a few minutes of the game. Had we shot better, we might have had them.
Looks like freshman Nina Minicozzi had a double-double. So that's a nice glimmer of hope...

This is a poor shooting team right now, across the board. Minicozzi had 10 points but needed 13 shots to get there, which is not ideal.
I wish we could see some advanced stats on this team because my hunch is Minicozzi has an astronomically high usage rate. She dribbles so much and had only 2 assists against 4 turnovers in 37 minutes of play. Against teams better than Siena it's going to be an issue.

Minicozzi has done a decent job handling the ball. Her lack of assists is largely a function of her teammates missing open shots that she creates. And her rebounding is next level. She hasn't been the problem so far.
The biggest issue right now is Arik's offense, or lack thereof

To be clear, I think Minicozzi is going to be fine. I also think Ariik will be fine once she gets her legs underneath her - she missed a whole season so will need time to get her rhythm back.
The road out of the hole created by the last two seasons will be bumpy and long.
