At the half, Princeton 35, UCLA 32.

Wow, are they playing well, shooting well, defending well. UCLA will probably get their act together and pull this out, but that first half was entertaining. Mari Bickley had a great 2d quarter.

Those comparisons mean almost nothing. But…

UConn (albeit minus Azzi Fudd, but with Paige Bueckers) lost to UCLA by 11.

That’s #6 UConn.

With losses by Louisville and Maryland, and with one of Oklahoma and Tennessee going to lose twice this week, this virtually assures the Tigers will be top 25 in the next poll, even if they lose to Indiana.
