For sure some bright spots in the opening few weeks of the new Quakers' season, namely Almqvist as a scoring machine and Gayle as a super sold scoring point guard. As well, Toonders has returned from injury ahead of schedule and freshmen Sharpe and Ogbevire have appeared as contributors right away.

But a deeper look reveals some concerns. Namely, all Penn's wins have come over teams with losing records and when they play better teams it's been massive blowout losses (all 20+ pts).

They will likely enter Ivy conference play with a winning record since of the remaining non-conference games only Villanova appears to be strong, but it's not as easy to see this team competing against the likes of Columbia and and Princeton this year.
