Looks very tough at 6-2. However, how in the world did St. Joe lose its opener?

As of 12/7 the Tigers at no. 51 are the only Ivy team in kenpom top 100. Yale dropped to 113 after what must be considered a remarkable loss to Fairfield. Cornell at 116. St. Joe's is currently ranked higher than any future Tiger opponent. This contest may be the season's biggest challenge, certainly in the non-conference schedule. A win there would be a feather in the cap but a loss won't hurt too much.

It would not surprise me to see Princeton win. Penn had a good shot to win at St Joe's and I think Princeton has been playing at a level to compete with Joe's tonight.

Well, if it were tonight, I think it would be a competitive game. Sunday as well.

It will be a good one. The Big Five — now Six — is back.

In my opening post I remarked about St Joe’s “opener” loss. I erred and meant their fourth game loss to TAMUC. Look it up.

Opens St. Joe's -1 O/U 138

St. Joe's is a free-throw away from a Top 25 ranking.

A Tiger road win on City Line Avenue could see them at #25 next week.

Since Duquesne I’ve thought Tigers are for real. This would be a very impressive get, maybe their best of the season so far. St. Joe’s playing very tough of late.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)

Great start until Pierce picked up his 2nd foul already. Uh-oh.

Not loving the one-sided officiating to start. Bogus call on Pierce and uncalled fouls on the Hawks.

Survived Pierce's extended bench time with some great minutes from Scott. Let's see if Caden can make it to the half without picking up his 3rd.

Lots of good shooting and tough defense in this game so far. St. Joes as advertised.

Too many turnovers so far, but still looking composed even as the Hawks make their run.

33-31 isn't too bad considering the 5 min scoreless drought. Didn't attack the zone hard enough in the middle and jacked up too many 3s. The 2 quick fouls to Pierce clearly hurt, though Scott looked great.

Down 2 on the road to a very good team. I'll take it.

31-33 at the half on the road isn’t too bad against these guys. Going to need better D in the second half, I think.
