Game is at 7 PM on ESPN+.
I did not realize it, but Jelani Williams is still playing for Howard. Only been in 5 games this year but averaging 30 minutes a game off the bench when he has been healthy. 8.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists. That is a "coach on the floor" stat line. Hope he is healthy because his last game was 11/28.

Seth Towns is there as well, and is their leading scorer in terms of ppg (was recently cleared to play not so long ago).

Could Jelani have a couple more years of eligibility left if he wanted it? Only his 3rd year and he could get the extra COVID year potentially. Can't imagine he'll take it, but Bo Nix started 60 college football games so a full 5th season is not uncommon.

I think you are correct. My understanding is that student-athletes whose teams did not play in the COVID year (Jelani did not because he was still at Penn) don't get that "5th" year of eligibility. I think that is why Clark Slajchert only has one year of eligibility left (but must transfer if he gets his degree at Penn in May).

He's 26. Jelani must only be a year or two younger than that by now.

They have not played since NOv 28 so that might expalin it. Just a five point loss that night to Cincy. Also only lost by three to Georgia Tech. Could be a tough game.

Also worth noting that none of the current Quakers were on the team when he was still at Harvard on the injured list.

We win and we even cover.
Army-Navy for sure will be the featured Bad Beat on SVP tonight. And if you don't know what happened in that football game, worth checking it out.

It’s a good thing Spinoso surprised with that FT% and limiting the turnovers, because his post play and post D was pretty poor.
