Frustrating loss; snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. in the first half we played well and frankly seemed like a much better team. But Fordham hung around, cut into our lead, gradually tied the game, and then with about 8 minutes to go we seemed to run out of gas. Perhaps the 18 day layoff started to take its toll, but we slowed down on defense and our shots didn’t fall. A disappointing loss.

Yes--we led until 12 minutes to go, when Fordham tied it 54-54. Before then, we outran and outgunned them, but then their open shots started to fall, and they overtook us with too much to spare.

During the first half, we were playing well enough for me to believe that we might actually make the IL tournament. I think that is much less likely now.

Columbia really impressed in non-conf. If you can sneak into the ILT, you might pull off a huge upset on your homecourt.

Right now, I see Princeton and Cornell as locks, Yale as very likely, and Harvard & Columbia duking it out for that 4th spot. Crimson had the inside track until Mack's case of mono.

Who is going to be our go to guy in crunch time when the game is on the line? DLR? Brown? I didn’t see anybody playing that role today when the game was winnable.
