I think we need to find a way to get Lee more room to drive. He can put a lot of pressure on the defense when he gets free, but he has not been able to drive much in the last couple of months. We need 25+ from him every night and/ or kick out assists for Allocco and Peters to drain 3's. Lee had a quiet 17 in Ithaca and Pierce had double digit rebounds. Tigers have only lost twice when Pierce has 10+ on the boards.

Never imagined that we would be 15-2 at this point of the season. So I’ll leave the criticism and second guessing to others more qualified than me.

GO TIGERS!

I’m optimistic as well, but no offensive fixes would work when giving up scores like the Tigers did against Cornell.

I am with Tiger 69. This team has been
a revelation. They were not competitive
Saturday, but I expect Mitch will have
them ready this weekend. They may not win both,
but I think the intensity will be there.

Maybe it's only me, but I have seen what looks like casualness in Lee's passing leading to TOs. Obviously overall he's been tremendous but those TOs have hurt.

No, it's not just you. Very much agree.

Because of the ILT, there are two goals: qualify for the ILT. Then, win two games in a row.

I would hope we can qualify for the ILT, but winning two games in a row will be very difficult due to lack of rim protection and lack of overall depth. Each of these shortcomings was evident in Cornell.

Meanwhile, Mason Hooks is set to graduate with a degree in Molecular Biology. Likely this led to his decision to leave the team, as this degree requires hours of time in the lab. I wish him the best as he moves on to an MD, PhD, or both.

More than casualness, it’s his propensity to leap in the air acrobatically without always seeming to have a plan. When it works, the result has been some spectacular passes to wide open teammates for assists but too often of late it hasn’t ended well.

I noticed the hopeful jumping and stray passes, too. That should be easily correctable.

Good for Mason Hooks, BTW. Hope he goes on to make lots of discoveries or cure lots of patients.
