Really bad loss in the Palestra yesterday. Came out and showed no energy or heart, letting Columbia run all over them and essentially win the game in the first 10 minutes. Compare this to last year when Penn fought like crazy and played an intense game to beat Columbia in Philly.

Team shows no spark and were it not for the freshman Gayle playing her butt off I cannot imagine how much worse an already ho-hum season would have been. They can get back on the winning foot next weekend against a mysteriously awful Yale team, but getting slaughtered by one of the two top teams in the Ivy on your home court is a bad look.
