Festive mood at Jadwin, although looks like it could be a late arriving crowd.

Not loving the early defense. Can’t let Spinoso back down that deep or Brown be that open.

Nothing like a four-point trip, a stop, and a transition three from Allocco to force the Penn timeout.

Defense is starting to improve. Fewer clean drives to the rim as the help arrives, and closeouts at the perimeter are a step quicker. And the PU treys are going down at close to a 50% clip.

Penn gambling for steals with active hands and it’s working for them. Too many PU turnovers. Peters missing two FTs wasn’t good either.

Sloppy first half. With Slajchert back, Penn is playing with more punch than usual.

No biggie, but we need to adjust to laissez-faire Ivy reffing. Too soft on defense.

Went really cold and sloppy when we went up 7. Not pretty but Alloco has shut 0 down pretty cold.

36-40 at the half. Lots to tighten up on to avoid a bad loss.

Offense too reliant on Lee. Davis looking like a freshman tonight—turnovers and forced shots. Defense is allowing too many drives to the hoop.

53-50 with under 11:00 to go. Davis hit a tough mid-range jumper—maybe that will get him more comfortable.

Our guys keep fouling 3pt shooters tonight. That's the wrong kind of physicality.

Third time the Tigers have fouled a three-point shooter, with three different guilty parties.

Martini now 5-12 from three after a rough start. Still giving up too many easy looks to Spinoso and the perimeter shooters, but it’s a very competitive game.

Peters gets a steal and three treys to put the Tigers to their biggest lead. Great sequence.

Speaking of 3pt recovery... Blake P3t3rs!

This all started with more physical defense, more active hands. Our guys have finally adjusted. Let's close this out and hold serve at home.

I would like commentators to drop the fantastic team FT shooting % talking point.

Serious defensive clamp down by the Tigers on the last few possessions, then Allocco scores. Give up whoop but up 7 with possession at 0:53 is good.

Really weak defensive rebounding gives Penn a fourth chance and they hit the trey. Up four with 12 seconds left.

With Slajchert back, there's no shame in close win at home versus Penn.

I think the biggest reason our guys struggled against Cornell and Yale is that their offense got disrupted by C and Y's handsy defense. Our fear of foul trouble is understandable in non-conf but in Ivy play, we don't have to worry about ticky-tack calls in traffic.

Held serve at home! Big weekend coming...

77-70 win! Rivalry game that PU needed to win.
