Lions up 6 at the half, after being up 12 with ~8:00 to go, but down 3 with ~4:30 left. The Lions have already turned the Bears over 9 times. Both teams went on dominating runs at one point.

Columbia is having the better of things in the backcourt. Brown's frontcourt is actually not as dominant as their stats and muscle indicate they ought to be. Credit to Columbia's bigs for persevering and getting a surprising number of good looks inside.

Now up by 18 (!) with 7 minutes to go. Barring a record collapse, we should win.

This is very different team.

Wins on the road are huge and this one is no exception. Great showing today in Providence.

Yes, we were supposed (per KP) lose by 2, but instead we win by 14.

Odunowo with a career high 17; Nobledo with 15, DLR 14, all in the second half; Brown with 11, and Bedri with 10.

Next 4 games at home; now at 3-4 in IL, we have a real shot at the 4th spot in IL tournament.

Columbia played very well today in Providence. Josh had a career day. Harvard and Columbia are now the leaders for the fourth Ivy League Tournament berth.

It took a very long time, but we have to give credit to Jim Engles for putting together a nice team which plays to its strengths and minimizes its shortcomings. And credit to Peter Pilling for staying the course.

What is impressive is that we are playing so, so much better than a year ago, and we are doing that with the same team as we had a year ago, i.e., no first year or transfer is making a significant difference. And we are accomplishing that which we are accomplishing by playing very good team D and team O—we don’t have anyone scoring 20 or 30 pts a game. Our coaches have done a very good job.

Some of us (who might not quite be as emotionally involved) thought you guys were a bit harsh on him.

"I still think that barring mass transfers out, he should get one more season to see if his kids can play on this level---a lot of Ivy teams are losing key contributors after this year."

We lack size up front but can put good athletes on the floor who play solid defense and share the ball on offense. Josh keeps getting better and better, and for a slender (but strong) 6’6” he holds his own against bigger front court players.

We jump 20 slots in KenPom to 195, 4th highest in the IL. All told, we have risen about 60 slots since the beginning of the season.

100%... a couple years ago when DLR was a freshman and others in that class showed some promise, I felt that Engles deserved a chance to see what he could do with the class of '25. It looks like that patience has paid off. I'm not saying this team will win an Ivy title this year or next, but they're highly competitive with any team in the league and are fun to watch.

If Murphy had not been injured and was able to reach his potential he would have given us the front court size and talent that might have made this team even stronger.

I knew you had some guard depth but wasn’t quite prepared for your frontcourt playing so well. Udunowo and Bedri killed Brown all game.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)
