Senior guard Zavian McLean is leading the Lions who are down by eight 41-33 at halftime to Princeton at Jadwin. A Columbia victory tonight would prserve the Lions' chance to capture the fourth Ivy Tournament berth.

Princeton won by 14.
As always, there were fairly frequent displays of good basketball, but cumulatively, it was just not enough to win the game.

We are as the saying goes, always a day late and a dollar short. We are good enough to put up a decent display but not good enough to win. We have some nice players but nobody who can take over a game and make the big shot or the big stop. We play hard but just don’t have the horses.

Columbia loses to Princeton 84-70 to fall into sixth place in the Ivy League. I am uncertain if the Lions have any mathematical chance remaining to make the Ivy League Tournament which will take place on Columbia's home court.
