Cornell will be looking past us on Saturday. When we first met, we didn’t have DLR and with a few more stops might have beaten them. I think we are going to come out firing on all cylinders. I think that the players will want to win this one for Coach Engles in the hope that doing so will solidify his return for next season. I expect to see our two seniors have excellent games, and for DLR to break out with his performance of the season. So I’m going out on a limb and predicting a Columbia win.

I don't think it's in Earl's DNA to look past anyone. He still can tie for a banner, and that means something, even though Cornell will not be first seed. Contrast that with Amaker last night. I'd like to see Columbia win but that is a tough game against a deep team.

For whatever reason I was not as impressed by Cornell when we played them as I suppose I should have been. In any event I hope I don’t have to eat my words.

98-76 loss. Of course, after we said McClean was valuable, but not indispensable, he leads with 17, followed by an improving Thompson and DLR with 15.
Brown only had 5 pts; unless he improves next year, Giani Cobb could send him to the bench.
