In response to penn nation
Perhaps it may have been difficult to develop his talent because:
"BOZEMAN — To date, the college basketball career of Eddie Turner III has featured painfully little basketball.
In the past four years at Columbia University in New York, he was limited to just 18 games due to injuries, COVID-19 and family emergencies. Turner even admits bluntly, “My last full season was really my senior year of high school.”
That was in 2018, when he helped Garfield High School in Seattle go 28-2 en route to a win in the Class 3A championship game, where Turner scored 19 points.
Since then, he’s encountered a string of bad luck and bad timing.
Turner tore the patellar tendons in both of his knees during a workout on a recruiting visit at Loyola Chicago during his one season at a Connecticut prep school, limiting him to just nine games during his freshman season at Columbia in 2019-20. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the Ivy League season his sophomore year. As a junior, he contracted COVID-19 three times and missed all but nine games."
But, hey, taking a shot at our coaches is one of your favorite pastimes, so what's one more?
