Don't see an epic comeback coming with this shooting. UNLV too physical. I guess we should have expected it when Tigers made the first few 3s.

I know Lee was probably pushed (like Pierce has been all night), but missing that layup says it all. He always makes those anyway. He's not right physically and the team's not right mentally.

Lee giving great D, but he just lacks that little bit of strength he usually uses to finish layups with extension.

UNLV showing good passing out of traps, as well as power down low, and Kylan Boone is very good.

Lee is clearly still off. UNLV doesn’t seem bothered by the Princeton defense - they just are so much bigger.

Lee is doing everything reasonably well out there EXCEPT for score, but it's a big, big minus. Missing in every way possible.

At one point, it also looked like he was slightly hobbling out there.

Looks like Davis has a leg injury. He's not shooting as well as usual.

So Lee hits a layup sandwiched between two turnovers from UNLV. Down ten with possession, over three minutes left. Score now and the pressure might start to affect the Rebels.

Whalley plays much bigger than listed 6'7".

Whaley is an apt name for him.

And Lee is on fire, although perhaps too little, too late.

Is that right--Princeton has no time outs left?

Lee’s offensive revival is timely. Scott is becoming very good at getting loose balls and saving balls going out of bounds.

Lee's FT shooting really fell off at the end. Even before his illness.

They say FTs are in the legs, so I suspect fatigue - going from 10mpg frosh to 30mpg sophomore.

Funny, I immediately think of Dametri Hill, who was on Florida's 1994 Final Four team and cost Penn a chance to go to the Sweet Sixteen.

His nickname: The Meat Hook.

His coach: Lon Kruger. Yep, UNLV's dad.

Don’t know why UNLV keeps fouling. Leaving a tiny crack in the door.

I feel for Allocco and Martini, who deserve another chance at March. Hope they find it at on another team next season. Both should have some great offers with their 3pt shooting.

On the bright side, they got to taste March glory last year. I'll trade a Sweet 16 run for a pair of near-misses any day.

I hope the crowd sends the team off well. They gave fans a lot to enjoy this year.

Yeah, the NIT is a flukey thing - it comes down to emotions and injuries more than talent. And without the edge in either category, the more athletic team won.

Still so excited about this team, though. I never thought they'd be this good - 24-5 with a 55 NET is a "disappointment." Loved watching them play, just ran out of gas at the end.

Tough ending to a great season.

I’m sure Allocco and Martini will be popular in the portal as two-way players who can shoot threes and pass. They can fit in almost anywhere.

The need for post defense and rim protection for next season is going to be even more acute next season for Princeton.

Although in each case those games were played at the seed's home site. And Princeton had not lost a game at home all year.

I wouldn't just chalk this up to athleticism. UNLV is a well coached team. A team with athletes but lousy coaching might not have fared as well tonight.
