We just landed Alex Touomuo, a 6'7" PF/SF from Gonzaga High School in DC (the same school Batties went to). Looks like a very solid get.

The WCAC, where Gonzaga plays, is probably the best high school conference in the country, so players from there tend to be ready to contribute sooner rather than later. (Mack and Mbeng were both WCAC kids too). As for Touomuo, he had a lot of mid-major interest—Northeastern, Siena, George Mason, GW, Fordham—including from Princeton, where he took an unofficial visit.

Supposed to be more of an inside player at this point, which isn't a bad thing. We need size/strength.

Those look like two more very solid gets.

Okorie is an interesting prospect. I think he had a growth spurt in the last year or so—he was listed at 5'9" until recently—and he started to pick up more good mid-major offers when he did. (GW, Brown, Northeastern, and Rice, among others). Supposed to be quick, shot 40% from three in HS, good defender.

Don't know as much about Langford. Good size at 6'8", had a lot of mid-major offers from California (where he played in HS), including solid programs like San Francisco and Long Beach State.

Bottom line: two very good Ivy prospects, to add to another good Ivy prospect in Touomou, and an elite one in Harrington. As is, it's a nice class.

The big question is whether we still have any shot at Eric Reibe. I'd guess no. We're still on his list, but he really blew up this past year, and it looks like UConn or Indiana or Creighton have the best shots at him. He's supposed to cut his list down again soon, so we'll see.

If you can arrange for Reibe to Harvard, I'll owe you and the family dinner at Noch's and Frank Pepe. I'll even throw in a dinner at Charlie's.

This is very exciting, especially the oysters and double cheeseburgers at Charlies. Hope to see you guys soon(ish). Hoping all is well.

I guess this ray of hope could help us through the coming season. Will Hinton, Pigge, Batties and Ace-Nesteski stick around for '24-'25? Only Lesmond and Nelson are Seniors.

Possibly the most returning minutes come from the coaches (Towns & Frashilla).

Reibe just committed to UConn. Hard to compete with the two-time defending national champs who just turned their last center into a lottery pick.
