Would anyone care to hazard a guess about the men and women's starting five? The season does start next Monday.

Parenthetically, some of the players on the women's team said that Riley Weiss was the teammate who improved the most over the summer.

So none of the touted first years break in?

SomeGuy's all-veteran probable starting five for tonight's season opener makes very good sense to me. Of course, the key question is who will be in the starting line-up when the Ivy League games begin.

The WBB game notes list the top 5 returning starters, which looks like reasonable choices for tonight's starting five.

Yes, but that omits Weiss, whose teammates said was the most improved player. She'll probably be subbed in first, and start in a little while Fliss H. can't provide enough offense.

Agreed. Riley Weiss was the second best outside shooter on the team last year, right behind the great Abbey Hsu. Obviously, Coach G realizes that and has big plans for Riley. I'm eager to see the six newcomers, beginning with New England prep standout Nasi Simmons, and then the Five M's--Maria, Marija, Marta, Mia and Emily Montes.
