Army's message board has most of the 2006-07 Army schedule posted, courtesy of a parent of one of their incoming players. It is a mixed bag, with a few real tough games interspersed with the weaker ones. Seems to be harder than last year. The confirmed teams they play are:
UConn
Notre Dame
Michigan
Citadel
Hartford
Cornell
VMI
Sacred Heart
NJIT
SUNY (? - not sure which one or ones)
Brown
Dartmouth
TBD - maybe D2 or D3
Also, there is a reference to opening the season the second week of November at the John Thompson Classic in Columbia MO. I'm not sure if any of the opponents for this event are included in the list above or not.

i think that sched looks pretty good for Army. hopefully, they can win a few more ooc games this year. their are a number of teams that they should be able to compete with e.g. Citadel, VMI, NJIT, Dartmouth or Brown (i think one is weak, but the other is okay), Hartford.

for our rpi purposes, we just need to see some d1 wins out of the black knights this year. this schedule looks very well suited to that aim.
however, the teams at the bottom of the league are not only going to have to start winning some games but also upgrade their schedules for the conference to continue its improvement. lets hope this year will serve as the first step after the overall disappointing non-conference showing in 05-06.
