hchoops-mattituck,ny: kyle--knowing the patriot leagus as well as you do,don't you think that holy cross with 7 of its top 8 scorers returning deserves more attention, even though the missing player is kevin hamilton ?--bucknell loses more with both charles lee and kevin bettencourt gone
Kyle Whelliston: (4:13 PM ET ) I probably didn't give Hamilton the credit I should have last year. Dude left his guts out on the court. Keith Simmons and Torey Thomas will be a great pair this season, score a lot of points and lock down a lot of opposing shooters, but HC will need to get something -- anything -- from their frontcourt, especially when they play those important Bucknell games. K-Ham provided them the luxury of not needing that last year. HC isn't only losing their leading scorer, he had a team-best six boards a game, and they certainly wouldn't have been the best rebounding team in the league without him. Chris McNaughton will eat them alive again in the Bucknell games if Alex Vander Baan and/or Tim Clifford don't step up.
