Given that this is a young team that looks like it is getting better from game to game, the early road schedule, coupled with the trip to Princeton and Penn in games two and three, could derail any chance Brown has to stay in contention this year. Its possible that this team could start the campaign 0-3 and be forced to play catch up all season.
How did the schedule work out with so many road games to start?
I know Miller has been having trouble trying to get teams to play him.Because of the success of his program it`s becoming more and more difficult as scholarship schools don`t want to lose to Ivy schools.Of course he has standing games with HC URI and PC with the HC and URI games on a home and home bases. He had to fill out his schedule with a couple of tournaments and it`s probably safe to say they won`t be going back to the Central Florida tournament.I know Wright St. was a home and home setup which probably won`t be happening again.Same thing with Wagner Binghamton Hartford and New Hamp.Binghamton was the only new team this year that they played at home first. It`s hard for Miller to find teams to play and then he usually has to go to them first, or play some big name opponent for an appearance fee.As for the Ivy schedule it`s controlled by the league and the only thing the teams control are the scheduling of the games between their travel partners which I`m glad to see Miller finally had them seperated instead of back to back. Some years the Ivy schedule is in your favor but not this year
