Probably the worst loss by an Ivy team this season.

Granted: weird circumstances - noon weekday game, crowd filled with screaming local children, Canisius returning from a 4 game road trip. They're clearly not as bad as their 1-9 record would indicate.

But I've lost some confidence in this team after this embarrassing loss.
LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)

In the MSG Holiday Festival, they stayed even with St. John's for almost all the first half (this was the game before St. John's destroyed N.C. State), and I think they led Columbia by 6 or 7 midway through the second half before the Lions stormed back. I wish I could write Brown off based on this game, but I really think it was just an anomaly. The Bears will be ready when the season starts.

yeah, basically every Ivy team already has a pretty embarassing loss. Cu-Hofstra, Yale-Niagara, PU-UTEP, etc...

still have one more tune up- if they lose to UM-ES, then there's real trouble

Besides, Sen. Barbara Boxer says Brown actually won the game.

Live by the three die by the three; yes Cansius is better than their 1-9 record but with if the Bruins can shoot better than they did yesterday they're not going to beat the Ps let alone Columbia or Yale...

You're right of course, but Brown went into the game ranked 11th in the country in 3 pt. shooting and shot 4 for 23. I don't think that was the result of Canisius' defense. Forte and Ruscoe were 8 for 24 from the floor and the team was 21 for 61. We're not going to beat anyone shooting like that. Good news, 10 TOs vs. 17 for Canisius. Bad news, out rebounded 42 - 32.
