It was a tough, gritty, hard nosed game. I was impressed with Columbia's guts, they could have folded more than once. Brown's D was terrific, particularly in the first half. Columbia lit it up, shooting near 75% in the second half, with a number of consecutive three's, but Brown never gave in. Col. closed to 3 in the late minutes, but Brown tighened and made FTs and toughed out the win. McAndrew had a double double, Huffman and MacDonald had great games and Skrelja, Becker and Friske made meaningful contributions.
(Eating my words Dept.) Joe DeMayo did the game and didn't try to show off. He actually called a pretty good game, though one ofhis collegues swallowed his wistle most of the night and was mostly wrong when he did make a call.
