Yeah, but this time a Princeton person said it. C'mon, that's apples and oranges, right?

That quote is right out of the Joe Restic/Steve Tosches playbook.
Btw, I think a lot of we Penn fans thought Princeton had the better team last year, especially after watching them chew up Penn inside in the season finale.

Well...in fairness, I believe the DP had one of the Penn players quoted in the pregame story saying something like "They're the worst team in the league" or something like that. Equally as classy.

From the article:
"The unique thing about Princeton is they might be the worst team in the league, but they will always give us a hell of a game, especially at their place. Jadwin, it's very unfriendly to Penn, men or women," Kammes said.
It could have been phrased better, but I think what she was trying to say is that no matter what, Princeton is always tough at Jadwin, even if/when they're the worst team; not that they are in fact the worst team.

I agree with your point. Her quote could have been phrased better just as the PU coach's quote could have been phrased better.

Just like the Eddie Jones quote you are proud to display could have been phrased better.

Touche.
I wasn't about to ask Eddie to rephrase that when that is exactly what he said in answer to my question.

This reminds me of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam:
"...The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ, Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line, Nor all your Tears wash out a Word of it..."
Be careful what you say to a reporter who has pen or tape recorder in hand.

Not to mention wrong. I was at the game. Neither team played particularly well. The story for most of the game was Penn couldn't stop Princeton inside, and Princeton couldn't stop Penn outside. Fortunately, at the very end, Penn finally managed to break up a couple of passes into the post, whereas Princeton never did quite figure out how to stop Penn from beyond the arc. Also, Meghan Cowher, daughter of Bill, after getting a chance to tie it at the line with 5 seconds to go in the 2nd OT, clanged the first, forcing her to miss the second one as well, which Penn rebounded. Also, the refereeing was abysmal: for instance, in one crucial possession, Penn got away with a blatant halfcourt violation. On the other hand, Princeton seemed to be able to do pretty much what they wanted when rebounding the ball.
Let's put it this way; both teams better improve real quick, or Dartmouth and Harvard are going to clean up this weekend.

(Low blow alert)
Looks like it's a family trait not being able to execute in key situations.

Well, I was going to try chanting "Steelers s@@k" at her, but I figured that would only tick her off.
