Keefer named PL Rookie of the Year! Hall place onto 2nd Team All-PL. See link below:

Keefer was a slam-dunk in my eyes. Had hoped Hall would have made it onto the first team - a squad comprised of 4 guards and one center, HC's Tim Clifford. The four guards (3 seniors and 1 junior) chosen ahead of Marquis and their per game numbers - together with Top 15 rankings, if appropriate - appear below. NR represents "not ranked."
Name (school)/ Points / Assists / Steals / A-TO Ratio / FT%
Griffin (BU)/ (12) 13.4 / (12) 2.64 / (1) 2.00 / NR / (8).782
Carr (AU)/ (2) 21.0 / NR / NR / NR /(1) .921
Brown (Army)/ (5) 16.9 / NR / (5) 1.71 / NR / NR
Sprink (Navy)/ (1) 23.5 /(7) 3.29/ (13) 1.36 / (9) .85 / (2) .888
Hall (LU)/ (8) 15.8 / (3) 3.86 / (9) 1.50 / (1) 1.46 / (3) .844
The second team guards, besides Marquis, are: Abdullah (LC), Brown (LC), Harris (Navy), Mercer (AU), and Roemer (CU).
In a year of the three point shot, there were no forwards selected to either the first of second teams; Roemer was listed as "G/F." Let the records show that our big guys, as well as others who played in the paint for seven weeks, were perhaps deserving of second team recognition. Bryan and Zahir's numbers appear below:
WHITE: 1st and 19th in rebounding (8.4 per game) and 19th in scoring (9.6 ppg)
CARRINGTON: 14th in rebounding (4.7 per game) and 13th in scoring (13.3 ppg).
All in all, 11 players were named to the two teams - 5 seniors, 4 juniors and 2 sophomores (Hall and Harris). Position wise, it's broken down: 1 center, 9 guards, and 1 guard/forward (Roemer). All members of the First Team lead their respective squads in scoring.
50 hours to PL March Madness!
See you at Stabler on Wednesday night.
