Fantastic effort tonight by Brown, but one that came up just a little bit short when it mattered most. Up by two, Ohio stepped up and hit a heartbreaking 3pt shot followed by 8 free throws in a row to seal the game.
The only flaw in this gritty Brown squad has been the ability to run away with close games in the final 2-5 minutes. Yale, Cornell, and now Ohio were all been games that could have gone Brown's way with just one extra defensive stop or one more clutch basket. Very frustrating, but what a fun team to watch.
Congratulations on a season that exceeded everyone's expectations.
