Hey all:
Just wondering if anyone had any info. on the game on Wednesday... didn't get to see last season's matchup, but I remember Bettencourt (sp?) being a pretty solid player.
thanks seas

They would probably be a top tier Ivy. Their center gave us some problems last year. Doubt this is a 30 pointer either way. This will be a good test and our 1st common opponent with the Tigers. Probably will be decided in the last 8 minutes (something new for us this year).

Looks like they have a couple of players but not much depth. I'm curious who Oz will be covering. He seems to have been a step slow to the basket thus far. Residual from injuries?, not in game shape yet?

I thought Oz was slow laterally last year, though he seemed to improve as the year went on. Didn't we go through these recurring knee problems with Frankie Brown?

It's one thing to expect things from Ibby. We saw what he could do last year. We have still yet to see Oz do anything for the most part, either here or at Utah. Maybe this is the most we're ever going to get from him. Unfortunately, that isn't very much.

I was not aware of this....look who is No. 1
So this should be a very tough test. Hopefully the crowd won't be as pathetic as Q-Pac.

Sounded like a solid win over the Internet perhaps limited a bit somewhat by so so shooting. If we shoot the ball halfway decent, Bucknell could have been buried midway through the 2nd half
Danley appears to have become a solid defensive player and the four man frontcourt rotation seems to be the way to go. Kudos to Fran for staying with all 4.
Balanced scoring led by Ibby's 14 (and 7 steals). Nice to see a Penn team that can shoot FTs. With not much success from 3 pt land, somebody had to be playing defense out there. Bucknell may have been careless but we had to have been a big part of those zillion turnovers.

I suppose I'll have to live with the 4 man rotation, but it's really tough to have Jan our there with Zoller. In addition, when will Jan learn that he needs to play from 18 feet? He's not a post man, and he's not a 3 point shooter.

I'm wondering if Zoller is hurting again. 15 minutes, 3 fouls, 1 FG - his foul line jumper. He's never been the quickest ofr the fastest, but he had no push off his legs tonight.

Of course, it could be that he got a haircut again.

Just found out he missed a few days of practice this week, so he's a little gimpy.
