Well, it's a win, yes, but not that impressive of a win.
DIII Ithaca mounted a second half comeback that almost won it. While Donahue sounded downright cheery in postgame comments, it's hard to believe he was thrilled with the outcome. The title of the article in the Ithaca Journal - "CU Wins, Technically".
Cornell was up by 13 with a few minutes to go before Ithaca scored the last 11 of the game. Regardless, beating Ithaca by even 13 isn't a terrific performance. Looks like the inside play of Taylor was the difference.

Cornell may have been up 13 with a few minutes to go, but they had to go on a serious run to open the game up. It was still a 2-4 point game well into the second half.

Hey, you have to respect the Bombers after they put a 62-54 hurtin' on the mighty SUNY Cortland Red Dragons.

All around disappointing season thus far for Big Red, a distinction shared by several other league members. It appears that Donahue is going to work the freshmen aggressively into the rotation, with the hopes it pays off by Ivy season.
