NEW YORK – Columbia senior Jason Miller capped a brilliant senior season with a spot on the All-Metropolitan third team, alongside the best college basketball players in the New York area.
He was named to the second team, all-Ivy.

..if games against Penn at the Palestra were all that mattered, he would have had a "brilliant" season. By the way, was that intended to be a direct quote?

LOL! Nothing like objective journalism.
10.9/6.5 is a nice season, especially since no one knew what to expect. But he was "brilliant" just like Elaine was "breathtaking" in that Seinfeld episode.

The website is not of a journalist but an AD and therefore expected to be what most are.

Actually, anyone who watched him play last season, or his first two knew what to expect: not much. He went from someone who was unable to contribute as a junior, who looked lost when he got the ball in the paint, to a guy who was almost always dependable, sometimes carried the team, second team all-Ivy, etc. It was a phenomenal turnaround.
