Third-generation Penn grad, plus my father's stepfather was the equipment manager for Penn athletics between the '50's and his passing in the late '70's. (Two NBA coaches attended his funeral and a third sent flowers; they had all been coaches at Penn.) Nothing finer on a winter evening then sitting in the Palestra, soaking in the sights and sounds.
