Look at the positive: that's one less frequently injured player.

A bunch of times this year (when he could play), I found myself thinking that we need more guys like Harrell. I guess now we'll need to find even more guys like him.

So do I. And frankly, if you were on this team, if the opportunity presented itself, why shouldn't you at least consider it?
Also, with this latest news (by my count) more than 50% of Quaker minutes this past season will be gone from next year's roster.

Of course---this season was so unenjoyable to watch that I simply chose to miss a game for the first time in 20 years. It had to be even less fun to play. It convinced Gensler that there are other things in the world. It was that bad...and it probably has to get worse before it gets better.

I hate to agree, but I really can't blame any kid who wants out. You only get one chance to play college ball.
This is a shanda.

It says Julian Harrell is leaving. So does this article:
http://www.thedp.com/article/2014/04/penn- basketba...
Well, actually that article says Henry Brooks is leaving the team as well.

Fascinating, as Harrell took it down from both his Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Basically it was an official letter from Penn, ccing JA, OKing other schools to contact Harrell.
And you could see by the comments that he was pretty excited.

The DP did capture it before Harrell disallowed public views of his Instagram messages.
I'm free....free fallin'...

There go two of my starting five for next year. I guess now my preference is: DNH, Louis, Howard, PLP, Hicks.
Looks more questionable on defense now. And a lot smaller.
Can we get Jeremiah Kreisberg as a transfer?

Now make it 58% with Brooks not coming back. Although, on the bright side, that move alone probably eliminates most of our fouls.

At least it will get harder for anyone to argue that there is a magic bullet lineup out there that we haven't tried yet.

No disrespect to Brooks, and wish him the best, but he has one year of eligibility left, what type of program is going to take him? I was reading his career 'hi lights' on his penn athletics bio page, and it was depressing.
