Don't get me wrong, I fully expect Hubert to commit to UNC. I just don't understand why, if it's down to one school, he's waiting to commit. I don't know much about the rules of recruiting, so maybe there's a reason to wait, and if anybody is aware of that, please advise. If not, then maybe the pie hasn't fallen to earth yet.

Perhaps it has something to do with ACT test dates (February 12 and April 9th) and results (which appear to take anywhere from 3-8 weeks to arrive - http://www.actstudent.org/faq/answers/where.html). One can hope. :-)

For someone who was a recruiting target of Princeton, I can't imagine he is waiting to see if he got an ACT score that would qualify him to accept the UNC offer. I would think he already has the grades and scores to qualify for UNC. So why is he still waiting?

I think he meant he was hoping he was waiting for ACT scores to see if they could get him into PU

Well, if that's it, there is a cause for optimism, I would think.

Probably waiting to see if UNC's bigs will declare for the Draft. If there's PT for him, he'll probably go there. Otherwise, it'd be Maryland. Of course, I read some tweet where Penn State recently offered...so who knows exactly what's going on?

But I'm not gonna lie: I've entertained the silly thought of Hubert having an epiphany after the Harvard and UK games. "Whoa...they're a player like me away from being the next Butler."
