Amaker's name seems to be popping up again but has to be just speculation, whatever Amaker can do at Harvard he can do at Mason. Some media is already speculating that Courtney could be a candidate as he recruited their final 4 team and is still very interested in the team as he went to their NCAA games in Cleveland this year. I sure hope they dont hire Courtney, that would really hurt Cornell

For what it's worth, George Mason University is situated in Tommy Amaker's home town, Fairfax, Virginia.

Yeah I read that but would that really be enough? I dont think they will hire Courtney, maybe in a few years if he is successful here, they could probably get a more experienced head coach

George Mason has no medical school. End of conversation.

There are three in the area, but I doubt Howard, or George Washington, or Georgetown will give a faculty position to Mrs. Amaker as part of a package that brings her husband to GMU.

She would have to apply there like everyone else does, but it doesnt matter Amaker isnt going there, there are probably more expectations there than Miami

The deal at Harvard is that she is a member of the Harvard Medical School faculty, and runs a program at McLean Hospital, a Harvard teaching hospital.
The University of Miami has a medical school, and its own set of teaching hospitals. The expectation (of uncertain weight) is that Amaker will only coach at another school where his wife can get a position similar to what she had at U Michigan and/or Harvard.
