None in parrticular, just found the silence pleasantly deafaninng.
What's to comment on? You hired a guy. He might be the next John Wooden, he might be the next Tom Schneider. You don't know, we don't know, he doesn't know.
Besides, we have a certain standard for our rivals, so we're all over on the Fairfield board.

I think he was hoping for some snarky comments. That would perpetuate the Princeton fans' image of their team as the plucky underdog. Pretty soon he'll start complaining about the presence of the vulgar Penn fans on the Princeton board, and then he'll accuse us of envying their grand basketball tradition. It's all part of the kabuki. Just play your role.

Now, really, SM. You make so much of so little.

I'm beginning to think that, if Clay Wilson hasn't made up his mind by now, there is little chance that he'll end up at Princeton. Maybe, as his father observed, God has better plans for him (Oral Roberts?). I admit that I'm a little disappointed, since he definitely shows some promise as a player under the radar, but it is time to move on. As Howard observed, Princeton's forte is not attracting blue chippers (and I don't think that Wilson is one, given his modest level of competition), but in taking good athletes and making them better within the context of the the team.
So, if Wilson chooses to go elsewhere, the remaining players will just have to work a little harder to fill the gap in offense left by his absence.

Not sure why you say that Tiger69. If we haven't heard anything, it means he hasn't signed up to go somewhere else. I think no news may be good news, at least for the moment.

I agree.
Also, Wilson didn't play against quality competition, but that also means he's used to taking 20-30 shots a game while being double or triple-teamed. That fearless "fire-away" mentality (Rivard has it) is something we need from a SG and an underclassmen -- esp. with Mavraides gone and Davis graduating next year.

I guess this means that Princeton is now Clay Wilson's safety school. Princeton rarely occupies that position.

Okay I'll bite. I for one am rooting for Wilson to end up at Fairfield.

No foundation for this, but I'll wager that he ends up closer to you (in Baptist country).
